Privacy notice

How Gulf Mosquito handles website enquiries and the information you choose to share.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Who handles your enquiry

Gulf Mosquito is responsible for deciding how information received through this website is used to handle consultancy enquiries. For privacy questions or requests, contact sav@gulfmosquito.com.

What you provide

The enquiry form asks for your name, work email, organisation, country and message. Your name, email and message are required so we can understand and respond to your enquiry; organisation is optional. We also receive information you choose to send in follow-up correspondence.

Please do not include health information, identification documents, payment details or confidential government or site records in the form. Arrangements for sharing project documents can be agreed separately.

Why we use it

We use your details to respond, clarify your requirements, discuss a potential consultancy assignment and keep a record of the correspondence. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. We do not sell enquiry details.

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, the basis for handling business enquiries is our legitimate interest in responding to requests and managing prospective client relationships. If you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you personally, processing necessary for those steps may instead rely on that basis. We may also retain information where needed to meet legal obligations or deal with legal claims.

Formspree and email delivery

When you press Send enquiry, your entries are sent to Formspree, Inc., which processes form submissions and delivers an email notification to Gulf Mosquito. A submission may also be stored in our Formspree account. Formspree may collect technical details, including IP address, browser and referring page, to operate and protect its service.

We receive and manage the notification in our business email service, Microsoft 365 supplied through GoDaddy. These providers and their service providers handle information needed to operate their services. See Formspree’s privacy policy for its practices.

Processing locations

Formspree states that it uses infrastructure in the United States and may process information in other countries where it operates. Email and website service providers may also process information internationally. This means your enquiry may be processed outside your country. Contact us if you need more information before sharing personal data.

How long information is kept

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond, follow up and maintain a relevant business record. The period depends on whether an enquiry remains active, leads to an assignment, or must be kept for legal or dispute-related reasons. When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted from the mailbox and Formspree account; removing an email alone does not remove the Formspree copy. Providers may retain backup or security records under their own policies.

Website and security information

Website hosting and security services may process technical request information to deliver the site and prevent abuse. We have not added advertising trackers or audience analytics scripts to the website’s page code. Provider security features may use cookies or similar technology where needed to operate their services.

The form uses HTTPS for transmission. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please keep initial enquiries limited to the information we need to respond.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights have conditions and exceptions. Email sav@gulfmosquito.com with your request; we may need to confirm your identity.

You can raise a concern with the data protection authority relevant to you. Where UK data protection law applies, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when the website’s enquiry handling changes. The date above identifies the current notice.
